Alice, a new resident of McCulloch County, Texas, at the World Championship Barbeque Goat Cook-off, Brady, Texas, September 1, 2007. Still vigorous in her late 80s, she was my hero of the day. Visiting with her was a nice Talking-to-Strangers moment.
